Winter rain in New Zealand
2006 год (Китай–Лаос–Вьетнам–Мьянма–Таиланд–Малайзия–Индонезия–Австралия–Новая Зеландия–Австралия–Япония–Корея–Россия (Владивосток)–Монголия–Россия)
Just leaving Australia, I suddenly realized that now I’m moving towards the house. Well, New Zealand consists of two small Islands, the life and way of life which is very much like Australia. Even the national flags are almost the same. Christchurch met me with a cold torrential rain. I, of course, is no stranger, but when places ice, on a bike ride is not very nice. First of all, I asked my friend who met me to help me take photos with local Maori aboriginal people.
The fact is that New Zealand is a modern civilized state, whose inhabitants cannot be distinguished from Europeans, especially since religion is Christian. I want to say to the reader of Karakalpakstan thank you for wishing me luck (it does not) and to answer his question about Maori. They, of course, no longer exist in the wild, they are now, having won at the time of independence, living in posh cities. But there is still the influence of England and Australia, it is most likely borrowed culture of these countries. And the main attention is paid to the tourist business. By the way, when summer is in our hemisphere, they have a real winter, and Vice versa. And probably everyone knows about the famous kiwi bird, which lives only in New Zealand. The capital is Wellington, but the coolest city is Auckland. And attractions here are forests, mountains, geysers and, of course, beaches. New Zealand is considered to be the world center of extreme entertainment – skiing, kayaking, jungle…
I only went to the South island. Impressions-mass! (A separate thank you want say my friend from Australia and his friends from Christchurch, which found time and devoted my the favourites person as much as two days. And in the evening I was treated to their national cuisine, which is most liked salad “new Zealand”). Already on departure to Tokyo, at the airport, when I checked the Internet mail, I received from the editorial office a message that I want to talk to our students studying in New Zealand. I called them immediately. Spoke for a long time. And was it’s a shame, that and them, and me told the too late. It’s nice that they are about me and my motocross read on the Internet and in Newspapers, but it would be interesting to meet. Unfortunately, they live on the Northern island, which is 700 km away. He wished Rahmon and all our students good study and that they meet the expectations of their parents, get a good education and introduce their knowledge to the prosperity of our country.
In the meantime, I’m boarding a New Zealand – Singapore – Japan plane. Travel time-8 hours. Meanwhile my bike flies to Japan by cargo plane. I want to pass big Salam to readers of Komsomolskaya Pravda, relatives and friends, as well as Kazkommertsbank. I want to note that Visa and MasterCard cards work flawlessly.
