2006 год

Well, in General, with Japan’s all clear. We can talk about it for a long time. Just want to reiterate that this is a very unique, no other similar country with its own traditions and customs. And if it were a little bit different, it probably would not have achieved such global recognition in the field of mechanical engineering and electronic technology. I already have little time for Japan, because I received an official letter of invitation from the organizing Committee of the international festival of motorcycle artists “Face to the ocean”by e-mail. Told me to 2 days before the opening were definitely at a press conference in Vladivostok. We must hurry!

Our Consul, Mr. Temenov Didar, contacted the Toyama city steamship company, where he was informed that there was one place for a biker and his motorcycle. The only thing you need to arrive at the pier Toyama without delay to have time to properly issue customs and border documents. And for this need to get half Japan! Usually red tape with paperwork takes at least 3-4 days, but thanks to the staff of our Embassy under the leadership of Ambassador Mr. Nurgaliyev Bolat all done in a day. Said goodbye to the Embassy staff, photographed and I went to the city of Toyama, where he had to dive on the ship “Russ” sailing to Vladivostok, Russia. I was given the address and phone numbers of the Japanese company, which is engaged in sending goods and vehicles to Russia. Now I know all this kitchen, because I saw firsthand how our and Russian businessmen buy cars here and send them to the mainland. On the pier almost do not hear the Japanese speech. Even the Japanese themselves, who are engaged in customs and other clearance, almost all speak broken Russian. In-General, already here, in the territory of Japan, I felt that I am in Russia. Was a bit nervous due to the fact that the customs began to demand from me the certificate or document where I purchased the bike. Hard to convince them that Japan is already the 51st country where I drove on this motorcycle. There was even a moment when the question of my loading on the ship was in great doubt. Moreover, the next ship is coming in a week, so in this case I did not have time for the festival “Face to the ocean”. But, in sight, and God helps me…

On the ship met the deliverers, although many do so in absentia I already knew from press and TV. This cruise reminded me of how I got by ship from Spain to Africa and from the USA to Venezuela: just my bike is in the hold, tied with belts, and I’ll wander on the deck in search of acquaintances, collecting photos and videos. In principle, such moments I probably on hand at least some sort of pause, a kind of psychological and physical rest, and most importantly – I have for some time disappear from sight (as neither the phone nor the Internet do not have network in the oceans). I really liked to sail on such a huge liner as” Russ ” – you feel like in some sanatorium or rest home. Fed 3 times a day, in all cabins TV in the evenings – discos and casinos. Although this ship is not tourist, but the conditions are good. I decided that as soon as I have free time and the opportunity, be sure to my wife Natalia will make a sea cruise on the ocean on a comfortable liner.

In the meantime, I am sick of Russian businessmen with their proposals to share with them the joy of their transactions and a historic meeting with me. Honestly, you have to hide! Somehow climbed to the top of the ship, is located there and a half-day sunbathing. I met the captain. He was informed of me before he left. When we arrived at the port of Vladivostok, he helped me to quickly unload the bike and pass customs clearance (usually this procedure takes 2-3 days). The motorcycle gave the next day, but still had to go to the customs office to do this.
